The Author

Hooked on writing since a child, Joy Lennick has had two previous factual books published: RUNNING YOUR OWN SMALL HOTEL, and JOBS IN BAKING AND CONFECTIONERY, both by Kogan Page of London. She has also written many articles and poems, several of which have appeared in anthologies, magazines and newspapers in the UK and in Spain, where she now lives with her husband, Eric, a master of crosswords, puns and cheesecake making. She and her husband have three sons, one of them incredibly handsome and gifted who creates websites ;-)

In the past, Joy has run a poetry club and had a short book of poems published; CELTIC CAMEOS AND OTHER POEMS. At present, she is working on a faction story: THE CATALYST which she hopes to finish before the zimmer frame stage sets in...

Joy won lst prize in the first short story competition held in Torrevieja, Spain, in 2005, and has been a judge on subsequent competitions.
